Have you ever felt so motivated and excited to actually do something but then completely forget about it a week later and tend to tell yourself that you’re really inspired and you’re going to do it… but you never do it?
Have you felt this before where you’re so passionate about something you love doing; you’re so motivated and you go and watch lots of YouTube videos and you get all excited? You tell yourself you’ll do it but after 30 days, you find yourself interested in something else and this time again you feel that you’re really passionate and motivated; you feel good but what are the outcomes? There are no other outcomes… It’s just a good feeling…Right?
So you see motivation is just a feeling. Of Course, it’s an important feeling but it’s just a part of what brings you success.
But what is the other part of this formula to achieve success? What is that one thing that’ll really bring you success? That’s what you’ll discover today in this blog!
“Motivation gets you started. Good habits keep you going.
Good habits give you the action to get your achievement and success.”
So, part of the formula here is:
“Motivation + Good Habits = Success”
Now why I write these blogs and make videos on my social media is because I’m very motivated to share my stories and my journey with you. Now how I made this a habit is by continuously doing it over and over. You see a habit needs to always be developed. So what I do is I block my calendar out every week to shoot a video and write blogs and this is how I’ve integrated it into my life. It’s become a habit now. It’s a consistency that I’ve developed in my life.
It’s very similar to getting up in the morning and brushing your teeth. You don’t think about it, you just do it! So, it’s exactly the same when you want to get success. Initially, when you start anything, you will be motivated. So just do something small and you keep doing it for about 30 to 60 days until it becomes a habit and you won’t really have to think about it anymore! You will just do it!
Why do you think there are these programs out there with 30-day challenges and 60-day challenges? It’s to train your mind to create that habit and keep you going.
CONCLUSION
