3 Proven Steps To Achieve Your Goals In 2023!

2023 is almost here! A new year to look forward to and achieve so much more! But that can happen only if you plan your path and align yourself with your goals!

We always set new year goals and resolutions every year…but we never follow through! If we don’t then it will just be like any other year where you don’t move forward to grow, rather you will just survive and move through another year without any growth. So, what would you choose?

Look, if you’re planning for the coming year and you’re going to set some goals and you very badly want to achieve it this time, then I would encourage you to read this blog because I’m going to share with you 3 things that will help you achieve your goals this 2023!

Now, let us first understand why it’s so important for you to set goals! Let me give you an example about myself! In 2019 I made a video where I said I would do four things in that year.

A. I would quit my job.

And I did it!

B. I would be an international speaker.

So that year, I flew to Singapore and gave a speech there. I trained a group of people as well!

C. I said I would actually start my real estate business where I bring capital from overseas and do project developments here!

And I did it! I’ve done multiple projects as well!

D. I said I would start my coaching business!

And I did it! Now I actually have a coaching program online which shows people how to close sales and really sell their knowledge online!

So, how did I achieve these goals? Let me share with you! Well, 2023 is almost here! Soon you will be really excited and you’re going to make some resolutions so let me share with you what I did to achieve my goals!

1.Hold Yourself Accountable:

What does that mean? Here’s an example. When I first started my YouTube Channel back in December 2019, I wrote ‘EXICTING’ announcement on the board rather than EXCITING! I spelt it wrong!

I was so excited and was telling everyone that I’ve quit my job and I’m going to start my own business and that video was me announcing to the world and I held myself accountable to it. I didn’t care if the spelling was wrong on the white board.

Now, because I had announced it, I said to myself, “Look! I’ve told everyone that I’m going to do” so I held myself accountable and I started doing one task at a time. So if you’ve got something planned for 2023, the most important thing that I would encourage you to find is an accountability partner. If you don’t find a partner, then just make a video and share it on your Facebook and on your social media.

Tell the world what you want to achieve, so if you tell the world what you’re going to achieve and if you don’t do it, you’re going to feel pretty bad about it! Right? So go ahead and do this, hold yourself accountable, have an accountability partner or just make a video and share it online. That’s what I did and that’s why I’m here today completing all the goals I had for myself.

2.Manage Your Emotions:

You see what’s going to happen with time is when you’re going to do all those tasks, there’s going to be a ton of emotions, lots of ups and downs and I guarantee you, you will feel like giving up! You will feel like it’s too hard.

I felt that too and I was not clear. So, I changed my goals in the middle and I was so confused as to what I should do. You will feel all these emotions too and wonder if you are doing the right thing! You might feel like what people are going to say…

Now the reason you will feel all these self doubts and emotions is because you’re doing something new and all these feelings are a good thing because then you’ll know how to manage those emotions. When you manage those emotions correctly, you will stay focused and focus will be the key to actually helping you achieve all your tasks.

3.Aim For Progression Not Perfection:

This point is extremely important! When I was facing a really rough year during the pandemic period, it was really tough. I was thinking that I needed to get everything perfect and everything needs to be really good. But then I realised very soon when I made that first video with the spelling mistake that it’s okay to be imperfect because when you are imperfect, people resonate with you.

So, even in your case, if you’re making certain mistakes it’s absolutely fine because it’s natural, people actually resonate with you. So don’t aim for perfection! Aim for progression! When you keep doing this over and over again, you will actually get better.

For example, if you look at my older videos on YouTube which was about two years ago, you’ll see that those videos were not that great. The lighting was bad, the voice was not clear and I was feeling like I was trying too hard!

But now it’s just like a conversation when I’m creating videos.

So, however I did the videos, I was focused on doing it regularly and I was improving. So I would encourage you to do the same. whatever you’ve got planned, don’t aim for perfection, aim for progression every single day.

CONCLUSION

So the three things to achieve your goals this 2023 is:

Number one: Hold yourself accountable.

Number two: Manage emotions and

Number three: Aim for progression.

When you keep doing this I assure you that you will be able to achieve everything that you’ve set for in 2023 and be successful. So, comment below if you found this blog helpful. I’d love to know what are your goals and what are you planning to do and if you need help let me know! I can help you!
