How To Maximise Your Full Potential?

Are you wondering, how to really maximise your full potential so that you can give more value to yourself and others? Today, I’m going to give you an analogy so that you can get a feel of things and it really anchors in!

Now think about this, when you say full potential, what is the meaning of full potential? Are you clear on that? If you aren’t then follow these three things!

1.Clarity Of Direction:

There are three questions, you need to ask yourself, to really understand your full potential. To get the clarity of direction, you must know:

  1. What is the problem you are solving?
  2. Who are you solving it for?
  3. How can they get the results by you helping them?

If you can answer all these three questions properly, you will actually understand what is your full potential. Let me give you an analogy. You’re driving a car and you don’t know where you want to go, you just say “Okay, I want to go to the west and I will just keep going” you’re just going to drive and just chill out. You’re not going to be fully focused. You see, that’s not your full potential!!!

What you want to do here is, you want to plan your destination. “Okay, I’m going there. It’s a three hours drive. I’m gonna drive, I’m gonna take a map, food, everything…” You’re very clear and then you keep going. Right?

You’re very clear in that direction and when you keep going in that direction no matter what, that’s your full potential.

2.Train Your Mindset:

Now, the second part to really realise your full potential is by training your mindset. Let’s say you’re driving and you know the direction. You keep going and along the way, there’s going to be a traffic jam. You’re going to be like “No problem! I’m going to change the route, I’m going to take this direction and keep going.” You don’t stop. No matter what happens, you still go! Right?

Same thing in business. In sales, when you know your direction there will be ups and downs. No matter what, you keep going and because you’re so clear, these ups and downs won’t really matter because you’re going to push yourself through it and that is your mindset.

3.Share Your Journey:

Thirdly, when you know your direction and you keep going, you’re enjoying the ride, you take photographs, you put it on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook… you share it with others and when people see it, they see that you’re really enjoying your vacation. Now, if they want to go to that same location, who are they going to ask?

They’re going to ask you!!! They’re going to comment on your post. “How was it? Can you tell me what is the best way to get there? Can you tell me what are the problems on the way?” They’re going to ask you so many questions and when you answer them that’s adding value.

So, number three is to share your journey as you go. It’s not going to be perfect. That’s okay but share as you go because when you share as you go people might be in the same problem that you’ve already solved and when you keep sharing and you keep solving their problem that’s how you are actually adding value in other people’s lives.

CONCLUSION

So, in order to achieve your full potential, the first one is to be very clear on the direction of what you’re solving, who you’re helping and how are they going to get the results. When you’re clear on this, it sets the direction. Number two is the mindset you need, to train yourself on, to keep going. Number three is to share your journey as you go. If you do these 3 things, then you can surely maximise your full potential.
